I’m Ajay K. Srivastava, MD, a fellowship-trained hip and knee replacement surgeon practicing in Flint, Michigan. I completed my undergraduate and medical education in Mumbai, India, followed by an Adult Reconstruction research fellowship in San Diego and Orthopaedic Surgery residency at McLaren Flint. Since 2010, I have been privileged to care for patients in the Flint community, focusing on hip and knee replacement and helping patients return to the activities and independence they value.
I believe the best orthopaedic care begins with understanding the person behind the diagnosis. Every patient has a unique story, and I take the time to listen—to your concerns, your goals, and the life you want to return to. My approach combines the highest standards of evidence-based medicine with personalized, compassionate care.
Over the course of my career, I have cared for more than 5,000 patients undergoing joint replacement surgery. My practice incorporates proven advances in joint replacement, including minimally invasive techniques, robotic-assisted technology, modern pain management, and rapid recovery protocols. My involvement in national clinical guidelines, research, and quality improvement initiatives through organizations such as AAOS, AAHKS, and MARCQI allows me to bring the most current knowledge in orthopaedic care to my patients.
