    Dr. Ajay K. Srivastava is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in adult joint reconstruction of the hip and knee. With more than 15 years of clinical experience, he has cared for more than 5,000 hip and knee replacement patients while building a distinguished record of leadership in resident education, clinical research, quality improvement, and evidence-based orthopaedic care. Since joining OrthoMichigan in 2010, Dr. Srivastava has developed a busy adult reconstruction practice with particular expertise in minimally invasive anterior hip replacement, partial and total knee replacement, robotic-assisted surgery, and complex revision procedures.
    Dr. Srivastava is a partner orthopaedic surgeon at OrthoMichigan in Flint, Michigan. Alongside his clinical practice, he serves as Program Director of the McLaren Flint Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program, where he is dedicated to educating the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons. He also holds appointments as Clinical Associate Professor at Michigan State University and Central Michigan University. Through these roles, he combines surgical education, resident mentorship, clinical investigation, and quality improvement with an active joint replacement practice.

    Knee Replacement

    I specialize in total knee replacement, using modern surgical techniques designed to minimize tissue trauma, improve precision, and support a faster recovery.

    Partial Knee Replacement

    Partial knee replacement can be an excellent option for carefully selected patients with arthritis limited to one part of the knee. Because it preserves more of your natural knee.

    Knee Revision

    Revision knee replacement is performed when a previous total knee replacement has failed and is causing significant pain, instability, infection, stiffness, or other problems. Revision surgeries are usually more complicated than primary total knee.

    Direct Anterior Hip Replacement

    I specialize in anterior approach hip replacement, using minimally invasive, muscle-sparing techniques designed to minimize tissue disruption and support a faster recovery.

    Hip Revision

    Revision hip replacement is performed when a previous total hip replacement has failed and is causing significant pain, instability, infection, or other problems.

    Robotic Surgery

    Robotic-assisted technology has added a new level of precision and personalization to knee replacement surgery. I use advanced robotic systems, including the ROSA® Robotic System and the TMINI® Robotic System.
