I’m Ajay K. Srivastava, MD, a fellowship-trained hip and knee replacement surgeon practicing in Flint, Michigan. I completed my undergraduate and medical education in Mumbai, India, followed by an Adult Reconstruction research fellowship in San Diego and Orthopaedic Surgery residency at McLaren Flint. Since 2010, I have been privileged to care for patients in the Flint community, focusing on hip and knee replacement and helping patients return to the activities and independence they value.

I believe the best orthopaedic care begins with understanding the person behind the diagnosis. Knee Replacement

I specialize in total knee replacement, using modern surgical techniques designed to minimize tissue trauma, improve precision, and support a faster recovery.

Partial Knee Replacement

Partial knee replacement can be an excellent option for carefully selected patients with arthritis limited to one part of the knee. Because it preserves more of your natural knee.

Knee Revision

Revision knee replacement is performed when a previous total knee replacement has failed and is causing significant pain, instability, infection, stiffness, or other problems. Revision surgeries are usually more complicated than primary total knee.

Direct Anterior Hip Replacement

I specialize in anterior approach hip replacement, using minimally invasive, muscle-sparing techniques designed to minimize tissue disruption and support a faster recovery.

Hip Revision

Revision hip replacement is performed when a previous total hip replacement has failed and is causing significant pain, instability, infection, or other problems.

Robotic Surgery

Robotic-assisted technology has added a new level of precision and personalization to knee replacement surgery. I use advanced robotic systems, including the ROSA® Robotic System and the TMINI® Robotic System.
